The Medical City has achieved Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation for its Primary Stroke Program—a recognition of excellence in delivering comprehensive, time-sensitive stroke care from emergency response and diagnostics to rehabilitation and recovery.

Leading this achievement is the Brain Attack Team, a specialized group consisting of neurologists, a neurology resident, a nurse certified by the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale, an interventional neurosurgeon, and an interventional neuroradiologist, dedicated to providing rapid, coordinated care within the critical window of treatment, ensuring the best possible outcomes for every patient.
