🌿 LGU Veruela Joins the 52nd National Nutrition Month Celebration

The Municipality of Veruela, under the leadership of Mayor Salimar T. Mondejar, proudly joins the nation in celebrating the 52nd National Nutrition Month this July 2026 with the theme:

"Nutrisyon at Kalikasan: Ating Pangalagaan!"

This year's observance highlights the importance of proper nutrition and environmental stewardship in building healthier, more resilient, and food-secure communities.

Anchored on Presidential Decree No. 491, otherwise known as the Nutrition Act of the Philippines, which established the National Nutrition Council (NNC) and declared the month of July as National Nutrition Month, LGU Veruela reaffirms its commitment to advancing nutrition programs, promoting healthy lifestyles, strengthening food security, and protecting the environment through the collective efforts of government agencies, partner institutions, barangays, schools, and every Verueleño.

Together, let us embrace healthy choices and care for our environment—for our well-being today and for the generations to come.
