Diabetes doesn’t have to control your life—but it needs to be managed every day.

Start with small, consistent steps:
🩸 Monitor your blood sugar regularly.

💊 Take your prescribed medicines or insulin correctly and never stop them without medical advice.

🥗 Choose a balanced diet—more vegetables, whole grains, and lean protein, while limiting sugary foods and drinks.

🚶 Stay physically active according to your health and ability.

⚖️ Maintain a healthy weight when appropriate.

🦶 Check your feet regularly for cuts, sores, swelling, or infection.

👩‍⚕️ And most importantly, keep your regular medical checkups to monitor your overall health.

Remember:
Good diabetes management can help prevent complications and keep you active and healthier.

✨ Don’t wait for complications before you take action.

Start managing your diabetes today—because small steps today can make a big difference tomorrow.

👉 Take control. Make healthier choices. Follow your treatment plan. And talk to your healthcare professional about the best plan for you.

Your health is worth the effort. Start today! ❤️

🧠 What is dementia?

Dementia occurs when diseases or damage to the brain cause a progressive decline in cognitive function. Alzheimer’s disease is the most common cause, but there are other types, including vascular dementia, Lewy body dementia, and frontotemporal dementia.

👵 When does it occur?

Dementia becomes much more common with increasing age, especially after 65, but it is not a normal part of aging. Younger people can also develop dementia, although this is less common.

🚨 Common signs and symptoms

1. Memory loss that affects daily activities

2. Repeating questions or stories

3. Difficulty finding the right words or following conversations

4. Trouble planning, solving problems, or handling money

5. Getting confused about time or place

6. Difficulty performing familiar tasks

7. Misplacing things and being unable to retrace steps

8. Changes in mood, personality, or behavior

9. Withdrawal from work or social activities

10. Difficulty recognizing familiar people or objects

11. Problems with judgment or decision-making

12. In later stages, difficulty walking, eating, or caring for oneself

Important: Occasional forgetfulness can happen with normal aging. Dementia is different because the changes are persistent, progressive, and interfere with daily life.

If confusion or memory loss appears suddenly, especially with weakness, difficulty speaking, severe headache, or loss of consciousness, seek emergency medical care—it may be a stroke or another urgent condition rather than dementia.
