𝐃𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬, 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧: T𝐨 B𝐞 𝐚 L𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 O𝐮𝐫 P𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬

Stepping up to the challenge of student leadership, peer facilitators from across the region gathered at 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐫𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐊𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞
for a day of transformative learning and skill-building.

This 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥-𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗟 𝗦𝗘𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗥-𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗣 focused on deepening our understanding of empathy, active listening, and mental health advocacy. By sharing experiences and best practices, we are strengthening our collective ability to serve as reliable pillars of support within our respective campuses.

Beyond the certificates, us Peer Facilitators left NDKC with a heart for service and a mission to lead. Together, we’re making sure that in our journey through student life, no one walks alone. 💚🤍

Yesterday, the Peer Facilitators Club of Matalam High School launched its Career Guidance program, an event that encouraged students to explore the possibilities of their future careers. Students expressed their dreams by dressing as the professionals they hope to become, turning the school into a vibrant showcase of ambition and hope. The event also introduced learners to different college schools and academic programs, giving them valuable insight into the paths they can take after senior high. Moments like these reminded everyone of a simple truth: your dreams are waiting for you, and it takes courage to pursue them. By participating, students were inspired not just to imagine their future, but to bravely take steps toward making it real.

The classroom campaign on the Anti-Bullying Act may have ended yesterday, September 5, 2025, but the knowledge and values you, our dear Grade 7 students, have learned will remain with you for a lifetime. 💙

We sincerely thank our Peer Facilitators and our guidance counselors, Ma’am Mary Frettie Gajo and Sir Alvin Almazan, for their dedication, as well as all the students for their active participation and openness during the campaign.

Let us continue to stand together against bullying and foster a school community built on respect, kindness, and compassion.

In observance of the Anti-Bullying Act, the Peer Facilitator Club of Matalam High School carried out a classroom campaign on September 2, 2025 to Grade 7 STE and SPA students. This activity highlighted the importance of standing against bullying and promoting a culture of empathy and respect among students.
‎Together, let us strengthen our stand for a safe and nurturing school environment.
