Malapit na sana makalabas… pero sa urethra pa sumabit. 😖

Kidney stones don’t always stay in the kidney.

Minsan, bumababa sila at naiipit sa urethra. Kapag nangyari ito, pwedeng magkaroon ng:
✔️ Severe pain
✔️ Weak urinary stream
✔️ Blood in the urine
✔️ Acute urinary retention

If you suddenly can’t urinate, don’t wait. Magpatingin agad sa urologist.

Early treatment can prevent infection, kidney damage, and unnecessary complications.

Ang tamang pagkain ay mahalagang bahagi ng pangangalaga sa mga may pre-dialytic chronic kidney disease (CKD). Sa pamamagitan ng tamang dami ng protina, pag-monitor ng potassium, at pag-iwas sa sobrang asin, maaaring mapabagal ang paglala ng sakit sa bato.

Three generations. Grandmother, mother, and granddaughter.

All diagnosed with urinary stones. All treated with laser stone surgery within a one-year period.

Interestingly, all of their stones were uric acid stones. While kidney stone disease is multifactorial, family history can play a significant role. Genetics, dietary habits, hydration status, and metabolic factors often work together to increase the risk of stone formation.

A reminder that prevention starts with awareness, proper hydration, and lifestyle modification, especially when stone disease runs in the family.

8 Golden Rules para sa Malusog na Bato

"Tunay na Bughaw ang Buhay kung ang Bato ay Masiglang Tunay”

Ang ating mga bato ay mahalaga sa pagpapanatiling malinis at malusog ng ating katawan. Sa simpleng pag-aalaga sa ating kalusugan araw-araw, maaari nating maiwasan ang mga sakit sa bato at mapanatili ang masiglang pamumuhay.

✔️ Mag-ehersisyo para lumakas ang katawan
✔️ Kumain ng masustansyang pagkain
✔️ Uminom ng sapat na dami ng tubig
✔️ I-monitor ang blood sugar
✔️ I-monitor ang blood pressure
✔️ Huwag manigarilyo
✔️ Huwag uminom ng gamot nang hindi nireseta ng doktor
✔️ Ipasuri ang kalagayan ng bato kung may diabetes, altapresyon, o kasaysayan ng sakit sa bato sa pamilya

Tandaan: Mas mabuti ang pag-iwas kaysa paggamot. Ang regular na pagpapasuri at pagkakaroon ng malusog na pamumuhay ay susi upang mapanatiling malakas at malusog ang ating mga bato.
