Ang Philippine Pediatric Society (PPS) at ang Philippine Society for Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics (PSDBP) ay naglabas ng isang matinding babala:

🚫 Ang mga batang 16-anyos pababa ay HINDI DAPAT pinapayagang gumamit ng social media nang walang mahigpit na gabay (unsupervised).

🧠 ANG "CLINICAL REALITY" (Ano ang nakikita ng mga doktor?)
Hindi ito simpleng teorya lang. Ito ang mga totoong sintomas na ginagamot ng mga doktor sa kanilang mga clinic araw-araw dulot ng unsupervised social media:

1. 👁️ MONITOR: Huwag hayaang "unsupervised" ang pag-scroll nila. Kilalanin ang kanilang mga online friends at pinapanood.
2. ⏳ MANAGE & LIMIT: I-regulate ang access sa apps. Gumamit ng parental controls at magtakda ng "no-gadget zones" sa bahay.
3. 🤝 MENTOR: Kausapin ang anak. Ipaliwanag sa kanila ang panganib ng digital world sa paraang maiintindihan nila.
