This month, we observe Dengue Awareness Month, a reminder that dengue remains a serious health concern, especially during the rainy season. Dengue is spread by the bite of infected mosquitoes and can affect anyone, regardless of age.

By keeping our surroundings clean and taking preventive measures, we can help protect ourselves, our families, and our community from dengue.

Together, let us stay informed, stay vigilant, and take action against dengue. Thank you and stay safe!

HPV is usually spread through skin-to-skin intimate contact, which means it can be passed during sexual activity. This is why awareness about HPV is especially important. Knowing about HPV does not mean assuming anything about a person’s behavior—it simply means being informed.

Most HPV infections go away on their own and never cause problems. However, some types of HPV can lead to health issues later in life, including cervical cancer and other cancers that affect both women and men. The good news is that these risks can be greatly reduced through awareness, vaccination, regular screening, and open conversations with healthcare professionals.

We invite you to join us for a talk titled Caring for Life: Cervical Health & HPV Awareness

The session will feature Ma. Socorro Bernardino, MD, FPOGS, FIFEPAG, who will share valuable insights on cervical health and HPV awareness. A personal testimony will also be shared by Isabella Fernando-Dela Cruz

📅 Date: March 27, 2026
⏰ Time: 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM
📍 Venue: Social Sciences Case Study Room

Kindly register through the link: https://go.ateneo.edu/CaringForLife

We look forward to seeing you there!
