ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENTS FOR GOVERNMENT OFFICES, ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON AUGUST 20

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 131, government offices are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on August 20, 2026:

📍 National Capital Region (NCR)
📍 Abra
📍 Benguet
📍 Ilocos Norte
📍 Ilocos Sur
📍 La Union
📍 Pangasinan
📍 Bataan
📍 Bulacan
📍 Nueva Ecija
📍 Pampanga
📍 Tarlac
📍 Zambales
📍 Batangas
📍 Cavite
📍 Laguna
📍 Rizal
📍 Occidental Mindoro

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes and learning continuity measures at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

Contract of Service (COS) and Job Order (JO) workers placed under alternative work arrangements shall be paid their corresponding wages or salaries, subject to applicable rules and regulations.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

Sa bisa ng Republic Act No. 6741, idineklarang special non-working holiday sa Quezon City tuwing August 19 bilang paggunita sa kaarawan ni dating pangulong Manuel L. Quezon.

| Dahil sa inaasahang malakas na pag-uulang aabot sa 50-200mm bukas, inirerekomenda ng Quezon City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (QCDRRMC) ang suspensyon ng face-to-face classes sa LAHAT NG ANTAS ng mga PAMPUBLIKO at PRIBADONG PAARALAN sa Quezon City sa Martes, August 18, 2026.

Ipatutupad ang Alternative Delivery Modes of Learning (Synchronous / Asynchronous) upang masiguro ang patuloy na pagkatuto ng mga mag-aaral.

Pinapayuhan ang lahat na mag-ingat at manatili sa inyong tahanan kung kinakailangan para sa inyong kaligtasan.

🇵🇭 Ika-Limang Araw ng Pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika 🇵🇭

Sa ikalimang araw ng ating pagdiriwang, patuloy nating pinayayaman ang kaalaman ng ating mga munting mag-aaral tungkol sa wika, kultura, at tradisyong Pilipino.

Sa pamamagitan ng masasaya at makabuluhang gawain, natututo ang ating mga bata na mahalin at pahalagahan ang sariling atin—mula sa ating mga salita, kaugalian, pagkain, sining, hanggang sa mga tradisyong ipinagmamalaki natin bilang mga Pilipino.

Tunay na ang pagmamahal sa sariling wika at kultura ay nagsisimula sa murang edad. Sama-sama nating itanim sa puso ng ating mga munting mag-aaral ang pagpapahalaga sa ating pagka-Pilipino.

Sa ika-apat na araw ng ating pagdiriwang, sama-samang natuklasan ng ating mga munting mag-aaral ang iba’t ibang lasa, kulay, at anyo ng mga kakaning Pilipino.

Mula sa makulay at masarap na p**o bumbong hanggang sa iba’t ibang tradisyunal na kakanin, ipinapakilala natin sa ating mga munting mag-aaral ang yaman ng ating kultura, tradisyon, at pagkaing Pilipino.

Masayang ipinagpatuloy ng ating mga little learners ang pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika!✨

Sa ikatlong araw, muli nilang ipinakita ang kanilang pagmamahal at pagpapahalaga sa wikang Filipino, kulturang Pilipino, at mga tradisyon sa pamamagitan ng masaya at makabuluhang mga gawain. 👧🏻👦🏻🌾

Sa bawat awit, laro, kuwento, at activity, mas napapalapit ang ating mga bata sa ating sariling wika at kultura. 🇵🇭✨

Patuloy tayong matuto, maglaro, at ipagmalaki ang pagiging Batang Pilipino!❤️
