Meet DR. SANDRA NAVARRA, one of the speakers on 1st Filipino Lupus Patients' Summit.

Dr. Sandra is a renowned lupus expert worldwide. Aside from molding the minds of soon-to-be Filipino doctors and soon-to-be Filipino rheumatologists, she has helped founded the Asia Pacific Lupus Collaboration (APLC), and Asian Lupus Nephritis Network (ALNN). She is also a member of the Lupus Academy steering committee. She has pioneered several physician and lay education projects, such as Applied Rheumatology Made Simple (ARMS) and the Patient Partners educational module.

Through Rheumatology Educational Trust Foundation, Dr. Sandra championed lupus patient care through Lupus Inspired Advocacy (LUISA), and other autoimmune rheumatic diseases through People Empowerment for Arthritis and Lupus (PEARL). Even after several years of being a rheumatologist, her love and care for the Filipinos with Lupus has never dimmed.

Results of the phase 3b TOGETHER-PsA trial showed ixekizumab administered together with tirzepatide in comorbid overweight or obese adults with psoriatic arthritis showed clinically meaningful improvement of psoriatic disease, physical function, weight reduction, & quality-of-life, with no new safety concerns
