La Union Cultural Institute Leo Club District 301-C Leo Club is a youth organization of Lions Clubs International. The word L E O stands for Leadership, Experience, and Opportunity. Leadership. Experience.

Opportunity. These are just a few of the rewards young people gain from participating in Leos. They also happen to be the values that create the acronym of our club name. In total, more than 160,000 young people in 140 countries are proud to volunteer to serve their local communities and to call themselves Leos. Youth who join Alpha clubs (ages 12-18) have fun, make new friends and experience the rewards of serving others. Omega clubs (ages 18-30) help members further develop their leadership skills and prepare them for a lifetime of community involvement and contribution to society. The Leo Club provides youth with volunteer opportunities โ€“ and is also a place to grow and have fun. It encourages the youth to develop leadership qualities by participating in social service activities. Leos conduct various projects in the fields of health care, elders, children, differently abled, literacy and education, and self-development.

The La Union Cultural Institute Leo Club conducted its 1st General Assembly last September 2, 2026. The assembly provided members with an introduction to the LEO Club, including its goals and missions. It also served as an opportunity for members to gain a deeper understanding of the organization and their rules as LEOs.

The spirit of unity evolved once more as the LUCI Leo Club actively prepared for the upcoming Academic Year 2026-2027 by simulating a Brigada Eskwela on July 10 and 13, 2026.

Acknowledging the responsibility and the importance of roles as youth leaders, the LUCI Leo Club officers declared their pledge during the Induction Ceremony of Leo Clubs, coinciding the celebration of La Union (Host) Lions Club's 75th Anniversary at Puerto de San Juan on December 20, 2025.

Multiple District (MD) Leo President Joshua Sanchez led and officiated the Induction Ceremony, and was witnessed by La Union (Host) Lions Club President Calixto Chan, District Governors, and guests present in the event.

Also, celebrating the 75 years of service of the La Union (Host) Lions Club, the LUCI Leo Club extends its greetings as they embarked another milestone of continued commitment in community service.

The solemn promise of leadership is spoken; but, it is by action that truly speaks on whether the responsibility of a leader is successfully fulfilled.
