📌 BAKIT IMPORTANTE ANG PAP SMEAR?

Napakahalaga nito para sa kalusugan ng babae! Ito ang pangunahing paraan para makita ang mga abnormal na selula sa cervix bago pa maging kanser o sa maagang yugto nito, kung saan mas madaling gamutin. Maaari rin itong makita ang HPV at iba pang impeksyon.

✅ MGA REKOMENDASYON (ayon sa DOH):

• Magsimula 3 taon pagkatapos ng unang pakikipagtalik, o sa edad na 21

• Mga 21-29: Bawat 3 taon

• Mga 30-65: Bawat 3 taon (Pap smear lamang) o bawat 5 taon (kasama ang HPV test)

• Mga 65+ at normal ang resulta dati: Maaaring huminto ayon sa payo ng doktor

⚠️ PAALALA: Iwasan ang regla, vaginal products, at pakikipagtalik sa loob ng 3 araw bago ang pagsusuri.
