Celebrating a month-long of nutritious foods, discussions, and uncovering learnings that go beyond the ordinary four-walled classroom. While the world lingers in unshakeable myths shadowing the importance of our health, the Society of Student Nutritionist-Dietitians remains intact and anchored in truth.
Health is not a distant trophy to be claimed at the finish line but rather a living flame to be
tended as seasons gently turn.
As the Nutrition Month 2026 celebration reached its ending, the Society of Student Nutritionist-Dietitians concluded a month filled with learning, participation, and creativity under this year’s theme, “Sa PPAN: Sama-sama sa Nutrisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat” and its
sub-theme, “Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan”.
In her opening remarks, Ms. Jolina M. Tolentino, RND emphasized this year’s theme, that proper nutrition and environmental responsibility are inseparable. She also applauded the SSND organization with their work during the celebration of this year's Nutrition Month, successfully organizing the activities where many students participated and enjoyed—impressed with each and everyone's nutri-creativity.
Throughout the celebration, students took part in various activities such as the Family Feud, Laro ng Lahi (consisting of the Back Spell Relay and Action Relay), Nutri-Bee, Nutri-Bingo, Nutri-Poster Making, Nutri-Snack Creation, Nutri-Tok Competition, and the Nutri-Trivia. It showcased each and everyone's knowledge, teamwork, and creativity. Each and every activity reflected the student's enthusiasm in nutrition and their nutri-creative way of promoting a healthy lifestyle while embracing the importance of nature to our food.
As the applause slowly faded and the winners proudly carried their certificates home, the true reward of the celebration remained with every student who took part. Beyond the games, contests, and recognition, Nutrition Month became a reminder that every healthy choice helps build a stronger community and a healthier future.
