💡Many people have bulging discs on their MRI but feel no pain at all. A bulge is a normal part of aging, while a herniation involves the inner gel leaking out. Neither necessarily means you need surgery. Conservative care is often the first and best step.

Many people avoid the surgeon because they fear a long recovery or major "open" procedures.

But modern techniques like BKP are minimally invasive. We use tiny incisions (~5-10mm) and advanced imaging to stabilize fractures, often getting patients home the same day with immediate relief of pain.

The goal isn't just surgery; it's getting you back to your life.

Chronic pain often feels like an unending cycle, draining your energy and strength. Stress can tense your muscles, worsening discomfort. However, hope lies in breaking this cycle by focusing on the mind-body connection.

Mindfulness and stress management are powerful tools for healing. Addressing both mind and body is not just beneficial—it’s essential for comprehensive treatment.

🔍By projecting a virtual 3D overlay of the patient’s spine directly onto my field of view, I can plan every move with pinpoint accuracy before the first incision is even made.

It’s ultra-minimally invasive surgery, supercharged by AR. Better visualization, better planning, and most importantly, better outcomes for my patients.

🏌️‍♂️Golf involves significant spinal rotation and torque, especially during the swing, crucial for power and accuracy. Without adequate core strength and flexibility, golfers risk serious issues like disc herniations and muscle strains.

A proper warm-up is essential to prepare the body, increasing heart rate and blood flow, which reduces injury risk. Improving lead hip mobility also alleviates lower back stress during swings.

🧹We clean our houses in March, but what about our habits? If you’ve been slouching through Q1. It’s time for a reset. Swap the “C-Curve” spine for a neutral alignment today. Your neck will thank you by April.

🟣This is UBE - no, not the delicious purple treat.
Unilateral (same side), Biportal (2 small incisions), Endoscopic (using a small camera) spine surgery is another ultra-minimally invasive procedure commonly used to treat sciatica and spinal stenosis.
This patient came in with severe leg pain that, unfortunately, caused them to be laid off from work due to their inability to perform daily office tasks.
A large herniated disc was removed using UBE, and the patient woke up from surgery completely free from pain!
Happy to report they were rehired and working as hard as ever!
