📧That email looks normal… but is it?
Scammers are getting better at making suspicious emails look real. Sometimes, all it takes is one click to put your account or information at risk.
Before clicking that link or opening an attachment, take a moment to check:
🔍 Check the sender — Is the email address really from who it claims to be?
🔗 Hover before you click — Does the link lead where you expect it to?
🚨 Watch for urgency — “Act now!” or “Your account will be closed!” can be warning signs.
📎 Be careful with attachments — Especially files you weren't expecting.
🔐 When in doubt, verify first. Contact the person or organization through an official channel instead of replying directly.
Remember: You don't need to be a cybersecurity expert to stay safe.
Sometimes, the best security measure is simply taking a few seconds to think before you click.
🔐 Stay alert. Stay secure.
