A small step toward better sleep awareness in our community. 💤

Today, we successfully completed the data-gathering phase of our ongoing bruxism research, with the support of the Tuguegarao City Health Office, the Office of the City Mayor, and the Barangay Health Workers of Linao West, who served as our selected sample representing BHWs across Tuguegarao City.

Bruxism is only one of the many recognized sleep disorders. This activity gave us an opportunity to share what we are learning, while also listening and learning from our community.

More importantly, it feels like a meaningful first step toward bringing Sleep Medicine closer to Cagayan and, hopefully, to the wider region—where awareness and access to proper sleep evaluation are still growing.

Grateful for the support, the trust, and everyone who made this possible. As my training continues, I hope to contribute to this journey one small step at a time. 💤

Today, we talked about something that often goes unnoticed—bruxism, its impact on sleep and health, and the importance of early awareness. 🦷💤

Grateful for the opportunity to share knowledge with our Barangay Health Workers of Linao West, and to be part of a research activity that aims to empower our frontline health workers through accessible health education.

Because better awareness means better recognition, better guidance, and ultimately, healthier communities. 💚

Another year, another reminder that life is a gift and every encounter is a blessing.

I’m grateful for the privilege of caring for others, for the trust my patients have given me, and for the people who continue to shape my journey. Each year teaches me to listen more, serve better, and appreciate life’s simple moments.

As I celebrate today, my prayer is to remain grounded in purpose, guided by faith, and worthy of the trust placed in me.
