We proudly welcome Calvin Dave D. Ganub, PhD, EdD, RGC, CHRA of the University of Saint La Salle – Bacolod City to the ERIO community!

Dr. Ganub is a Professor III and anchor counselor under the College of Arts and Sciences. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in Psychology, Education, Human Resource Management, and Guidance and Counseling, while also providing counseling services and student support within the university.

A Registered Guidance Counselor (RGC) and Certified Human Resource Associate (CHRA), he has consistently demonstrated excellence in both instruction and counseling, earning meritorious recognition for exemplary teaching and counseling performance since 2014.

Psychology and Education: A Multidisciplinary Journal (https://portal.issn.org/resource/ISSN/2822-4353) is pleased to welcome Dr. Calvin Dave D. Ganub as a member of the Scientific Committee.

Dr. Calvin Dave D. Ganub, PhD, EdD, RGC is currently affiliated with the University of Saint La Salle (USLS) in Bacolod City. He serves as an anchor counselor for Arts and Sciences. He is also teaching under the College of Arts and Sciences – Department of Psychology in the same university handling both undergraduate and graduate courses in Education, Business, Psychology and Guidance and Counseling. He holds a full professor 3 academic rank and had been a meritorious awardee for exemplary teaching and counseling performance for academic 2014-present. Dr. Calvin Dave D. Ganub took his Ph.D. in Psychology at the University of Negros Occidental Recoletos, MS Guidance and Counseling, and BS Psychology at USLS and he just recently finished his second doctorate degree in Doctor of Education in Guidance and Counseling (EdD GC) at the Central Philippine University in Iloilo City.

His special training includes Addictions Counseling, LGBT Psychology, Mental Health Psychosocial Support and Crisis Intervention. He took several certificate courses such “The Art of Poetry” Massive Online Open Course – given by United States of America Department of State through Boston University in partnership with Edx, Strategies to Build Attention to children with ADHD given by Eblity- Transformational Education for Children (India) and Private Practice Owner’s Guide to Business Protocols and Human Resources Practices, Certificate of Continuing Education, American Counseling Association (USA), School Health for Children and Adolescents Specialization, University of Colorado, United States of America and Positive Psychiatry and Mental Health, Brain and Mind Center, University of Sydney, Australia to name a few.

Calvin Dave D. Ganub, PhD, EdD, RGC, CHRA is a dedicated researcher, trainer, educator, counselor, and human resource practitioner whose work centers on advancing psychological well-being and educational development. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Saint La Salle and completed his Master of Science in Guidance and Counseling thereafter.

Dr. Ganub holds dual doctoral degrees—Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Psychology and Doctor of Education (EdD)—both obtained from Central Philippine University in Iloilo City. His academic and professional background reflects a strong commitment to research, guidance, and transformative learning.

He currently serves as Professor III and also fulfills the role of Guidance Counselor, integrating his expertise in psychology, counseling, and human resource management to support learners, research communities, and institutional development.
