"With due respect to all those doctors in government sector who don't sign the prescription after writing medicines/treatment:
In some government hospitals, OPD and ER doctors avoid signing a prescription like they're putting a thumbprint on a confession. Either they don't know, or they know but choose to turn a blind eye — or perhaps it's the fear that if a mistake happens or a medicolegal case arises, they can simply deny it. Yet the importance of a signature is that it is the very key that delivers medicine, treatment, and justice to the patient; otherwise, this nameless, unsigned piece of paper is worth less than a tissue paper."
