ہسپتال میں مریضوں کا علاج کرنا ڈاکٹر کی ذمہ داری ہے، لیکن بجلی کی وائرنگ، اے سی، فائر سیفٹی، گیس لائن، عمارت کی دیکھ بھال اور دیگر انتظامی امور بھی ڈاکٹر کے ذمے ڈال دیے جاتے ہیں۔ افسوس یہ ہے کہ جو کام انتظامیہ اور متعلقہ تکنیکی شعبوں کے ہیں، ان میں خرابی ہو تو بھی ہر الزام ڈاکٹر پر عائد کر دیا جاتا ہے۔ اگر وائرنگ ناقص ہے تو انجینئرنگ اور انتظامیہ جواب دہ ہونی چاہیے، اگر فائر سیفٹی کے انتظامات ناکافی ہیں تو متعلقہ شعبے سے سوال ہونا چاہیے۔ ڈاکٹر کا کام مریض کی جان بچانا اور علاج کرنا ہے، پورا ہسپتال چلانا نہیں۔ ہر خرابی کا ملبہ ڈاکٹر پر ڈالنے کے بجائے ذمہ داری اسی شخص یا شعبے پر عائد ہونی چاہیے جس کا وہ کام ہے۔
