1.If a SLE pt develops new onset photosensitivity rule out NSAIDs .
2.In pts with SLE worsening of renal functions occurs rule out over the counter NSAIDs.
3. NSAIDs especially ibuprofen are associated with aseptic meningitis which may be confused with CNS lupus.

Do not recommend bed rest for >48 hours when treating lower back pain.

Do not order an MRI before ordering plain films in patients presenting with joint or back pain.
