A 52-year-old male presented to the Emergency Department with complaints of urinary incontinence, vomiting, and right-sided weakness. Imaging and further investigations revealed a left frontal atypical meningioma. The patient was a known hypertensive and was on regular antihypertensive medication.
Following comprehensive preoperative evaluation and optimization, We performed complete surgical excision of the tumor via craniotomy. The procedure was carried out successfully without intraoperative complications.
Postoperative recovery was uneventful. The patient exhibited no new neurological deficits and showed marked improvement in his presenting symptoms. Histopathology confirmed the diagnosis of a WHO Grade I meningioma.
The patient was discharged in stable condition on postoperative day 7 — Alhamdulillah.
