Appreciation for Prompt and Successful Interdisciplinary Care at Haripur International Hospital
The Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Haripur International Hospital (HIH) is pleased to announce the successful surgical management of an 80-year-old male patient who presented to our facility following a fall.
The patient, a known diabetic, sustained a complex fracture of the left hip. Thanks to the prompt, highly coordinated efforts of our multidisciplinary teams, the patient underwent a successful Open Reduction and Internal Fixation (ORIF) using a Dynamic Hip Screw (DHS) implant on the 3rd day of Eid.
