A Heartfelt Thank You - PMS Conference 2026

As the curtains close on the Annual PMS Conference 2026, held on 22nd-23rd August at the Mövenpick Hotel, Islamabad, the Pakistan Menopause Society extends its sincerest gratitude to everyone who made this event a resounding success.

Here's the thing about conferences like this - the real value was never in the sessions. It wa the doctor who finally got to ask the question they'd been sitting on for months. Th delegate who found their next research partner over coffee. The volunteer running around solving fifty tiny problems so no one else had to notice them.

So instead of the usual thank-you list, here's what we're actually grateful for:

→ The faculty who showed up to teach, not perform
→ The delegates who stayed curious till the last session
→ The organisers who made chaos look like choreography
→ The pharma partners who back the science, not just the branding
→ The volunteers - the actual glue holding it all together

"Embrace the Change" wasn't just our theme this year. It's the whole point of the Pakistan Menopause Society existing in the first place.

PCOS is now PMOS: Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome.
Not just a name change. A long-overdue correction published in The Lancet, driven by 22,000 women worldwide who said: this condition is bigger than my ovaries.
