Blue Light Effects on Children's Vison & Preventive measures

بلیو لائٹ کے اثرات سے بچوں میں ظاہر ہونے والی علامات و نشانیاں:

1. آنکھوں میں تھکن

2. دھندلا یا دوہرا دکھائی دینا

3. آنکھوں میں خشکی یا جلن

4. سر درد

5. نیند میں خلل

6. توجہ کی کمی اور چڑچڑاپن

7. آنکھوں کی لالی

8. وقتی بینائی کی دھندلاہٹ

بچوں کی بینائی پر بلیو لائیٹ کے ممکنہ اثرات کو کم کرنے
کے لیے درج ذیل پانچ احتیاطی تدابیر اختیار کی جا سکتی ہیں:

1. اسکرین کے وقت کو محدود کریں:
بچوں کو چاہیے کہ وہ ڈیجیٹل ڈیوائسز کے استعمال کے دوران وقفے لیتے رہیں۔ ایک اچھا اصول ہے 20-20-20 رول: ہر 20 منٹ بعد، 20 فٹ دور کسی چیز کو کم از کم 20 سیکنڈ کے لیے دیکھیں۔

2. بلیو لائٹ فلٹر استعمال کریں:
زیادہ تر ڈیوائسز میں بلیو لائٹ فلٹر یا "نائٹ موڈ" کا فیچر موجود ہوتا ہے جو اسکرین کے رنگوں کو نرم یا گرم ٹونز میں بدل دیتا ہے۔ اس کے علاوہ آپ بلیو لائٹ بلاک کرنے والے چشمے یا بیرونی فلٹر بھی استعمال کر سکتے ہیں۔

3. مناسب روشنی کا اہتمام کریں:
جب بچے اسکرین استعمال کر رہے ہوں تو کمرہ اچھی طرح روشن ہونا چاہیے۔ یہ اسکرین اور اردگرد کے ماحول کے درمیان فرق کو کم کرتا ہے اور آنکھوں کے دباؤ (Eye Strain) کو گھٹاتا ہے۔

4. مناسب فاصلہ برقرار رکھیں:
بچوں کو یہ سکھائیں کہ وہ ڈیوائس کو مناسب فاصلے پر رکھ کر استعمال کریں۔ کمپیوٹر استعمال کرتے وقت اسکرین تقریباً ایک بازو کے فاصلے پر ہونی چاہیے، اور اسکرین کا اوپری کنارہ آنکھوں کی سطح پر یا اس سے تھوڑا نیچے ہونا بہتر ہے۔

5. باقاعدہ آنکھوں کا معائنہ:
بچوں کے لیے باقاعدگی سے مکمل آنکھوں کے معائنے (Eye Exams) کروائیں۔ آپٹومیٹرسٹ بچوں کی بینائی اور آنکھوں کی صحت کا جائزہ لے کر ان کے لیے مخصوص مشورے دے سکتا ہے۔
