🏥 Another Interesting Urological Case Successfully Managed of a 6 years old Boy

Alhamdulillah! at Doctors Hospital, Church Road, Jhang Sadar, we successfully managed an interesting case of:

Diagnosis
Congenital Right Obstructive Megaureter
with moderate to gross right hydroureteronephrosis due to distal ureteric narrowing/stricture.

CT Urogram findings:
Moderate to gross right hydronephrosis and hydroureter with smooth tapering of the distal right ureter, most likely representing a distal ureteric stricture.
DTPA Renal Scan: Right renal function preserved at 45%, (37ml)with obstructive drainage pattern.

Surgery Performed
🔹 Right Ureteric Tapering
🔹 Ureteric Straightening
And Reimplantation and DJ stent placed

Patient is stable post-operatively and recovering well.
