Tonight we continue with one of the Divine Names of Guidance: Ya Hadi.

A Name that reminds us
that guidance is not always something outside of us —
sometimes it is the quiet voice within
that we have stopped listening to.

So much noise,
fear
and confusion
can pull us away from the deeper knowing of the heart.

But guidance returns
when remembrance returns.

When you spend time with the meditation tonight,
I’d love to hear what became clearer within you 🤍

Love,
Tehmina

Tonight we continue with one of the Divine Names of Gratitude: Ya Shakur.

A Name that reminds us
that gratitude is not forced positivity -
but a softening of the heart
that allows us to see more clearly.

Sometimes the heart becomes so focused on what is missing,
that it forgets to witness
what is already quietly blooming.

Gratitude is also a form of remembrance.

When you spend time with the meditation tonight, I’d love to hear what opened within you 🤍

Love,
Tehmina

Tonight we continue with one of the Divine Names of Forgiveness: Ya Ghaffar.

A Name that reminds us
that healing is not always about forgetting pain -
but about softening what pain hardens within us.

So much tension,
hurt
and constriction
can quietly live inside the heart for years.

Forgiveness is not weakness.
It is one of the deepest forms of inner freedom.

When you spend time with the meditation tonight,
I’d love to hear what moved within you 🤍.

Love,
Tehmina

Tonight we continue with one of the gentlest Divine Names: Ya Ra’uf.

A quiet form of Divine Love -
subtle enough to reach the wounds we spend our lives protecting.

This Name carries the energy of healing,
softness, restoration
and peaceful surrender.

Perhaps some forms of healing arrive
not through force,
but through finally feeling safe enough to soften.

When you spend time with the meditation tonight,
I’d love to hear what moved within you 🤍

Love,
Tehmina

Tonight we continue with two of the most beloved Divine Names:
Ya Rahman, Ya Rahim.

Names of Compassion,
Mercy
and the Love that continues to hold us -
even in the moments we feel furthest away.

The root of both Names comes from rahm - the womb -
a reminder that Divine Mercy is not distant or abstract,
but something deeply nurturing,
intimate
and life-giving.

Perhaps this is why these Names have such a healing effect on the heart.

If you spend time with the meditation tonight,
I’d love to hear what arose within you 🤍

Love,
Tehmina

Over the next 9 days of Zil Hajj, I’ll be sharing reflections on the Divine Names - exploring some of their deeper meanings, mysteries and the inner states they awaken within us.

Alongside each Name, there’ll also be a simple nightly practice and meditation to help us sit with that remembrance more deeply during these sacred days.

Tonight we begin with:
Allah -
the first Name of Love.

Perhaps this is why the heart keeps returning to this Name again and again.
Because somewhere deep within us,
the soul remembers.

If you do spend time with the practice tonight, I’d truly love to hear how it felt for you 🤍

Love,
Tehmina

“God’s anger really disturbs me…”

I’ve heard this often - and I’ve felt that question too.

How can the Most Merciful be described in a way that feels so heavy?

This reflection is an attempt to sit with that question, not avoid it.

I’d love to know:
When you hear Divine “anger,” what do you feel first - fear, confusion, or something else?
