A tribute to Aunty Rita Gill

A pillar of faith, a heart of gold,
A story of service, beautifully told.

In Gizarian homes where we found our way,
She was the light that guided our day.

With Aunty Martha, side by side,
In the rhythm of prayer, she was our guide.

Through Saturday rosaries, a sacred refrain,
She anchored our souls and eased every pain.

She shaped the spirit of our Catholic belief,
Providing a harvest for every sheaf.

With a sweet, jovial nature that knew no bounds,
Wherever she walked, joy was always found.

Captivating hearts with a laugh and a smile,
She’d walk with the weary for every mile.

Full of energy, a spirit so bright,
Turning the shadows to glorious light.

She never held back her love or her time,
A life lived in service, truly sublime.

A remarkable woman, steadfast and true,
The seeds that she planted in us grew and grew.

Though the voice of the beads may fall soft on the air,
We carry her legacy in every prayer.

Rest in peace aunty Rita and thank you for being the kind of person you were. ❤️

We will always remember you and cherish your memories.
