Not all helping is helpful. 🦋
Sometimes the fixing, the advice, the jumping in before anyone’s asked... isn’t generosity. It’s what your nervous system does instead of sitting with the discomfort of watching someone you love struggle.
It’s not a character flaw. It’s a strategy you built early, probably somewhere you learned that someone else’s pain was yours to manage.
Real support doesn’t require you to disappear. You can care about someone and still let them have their own feelings.
Save this for the next time you feel the urge to rescue. Share it with someone who over-gives. 💚

You can go to therapy twice a week. Journal every night. Set every boundary you know how to set. But none of it can out-earn a relationship that reopens the same hurt on repeat. Healing isn’t just an inside job, it needs a safe outside too. Save this for the friend who’s doing everything right and still not okay. 🦋

The person you fell in love with doesn’t exist anymore.
Neither do you.
And somewhere in that shift, a lot of couples panic-thinking growth is the thing that broke them, when really, it’s just what happens when you love someone who’s actually alive.
“You’ve changed” isn’t always an accusation. Sometimes it’s just true. The real question is whether you’re both still willing to get to know each other again.
Save this for the next time change feels like a threat instead of an invitation. 🤍

You check the notifications count more than you check in with yourself. That’s worth borrowed, not worth felt.
It’s an old habit, going back to whenever approval first got tied to good behavior or good grades. But nobody’s applause was ever meant to be the thing holding you together.

If you find yourself needing reassurance to feel steady, you’re not alone, and it’s not a character flaw. It usually starts long before the relationships you’re in now, and no partner, text, or compliment was ever going to hand you the safety you’re looking for. That part is yours to build.

If a cold text can wreck your whole day, your nervous system has quietly handed someone else the job of deciding your worth. When they’re warm, you feel whole. When they pull back, you feel like nothing. That’s not love, that’s a dependency loop, and it can be unlearned.
Real security doesn’t come from someone else’s consistency. It comes from building a sense of self that doesn’t collapse the moment they go quiet.

Save this for the next spiral. Tag someone who needs to hear it. 🤍

Some relationships teach you what love feels like. Others teach you what you were willing to tolerate so you wouldn’t be alone.
Swipe through and be honest with yourself: were you choosing the person, or were you choosing not to feel the empty space? 🦋

Save this for the next time a connection feels familiar rather than good, and drop a 🤍 if slide 5 hit different.

the difference between intent and impact is where most fights actually live.
you can love someone and still hurt them. that doesn’t make you a bad partner, it makes you human. but the moment you skip past their hurt to defend your intention, you turn a repair into a debate.
next time, try this: acknowledge the impact before you explain the intent. it changes everything.
save this for the next hard conversation. 🤍

We all walk around holding half a story about the people around us- a friend, a coworker, a parent, a stranger- and call it the whole truth.

Save this for the next time someone’s silence feels like an answer. 🦋
