Diagnosis day doesn't define your child's story, it's just the first page of a beautiful struggle 🀍

You don't need to have it all figured out today. You just need to take one small step, and then another. Your strength is quietly becoming your child's biggest support system, even on the days you don't feel strong at all.

Progress isn't always loud. Sometimes it's a new word, a calmer moment, a small win only you notice. Keep going, you're doing better than you think πŸ’ͺ🏻

Sometimes a small achievement is much bigger than it looks. πŸ’™

When a child learns to do something independently, it doesn't just change the child, it changes the parents' confidence too.

That little β€œAlhamdulillah, mera bacha ab khud kar sakta hai” is what empowerment truly feels like. 🌱

Because independence creates confidence, and confidence creates hope for what comes next. ✨

Allah tests people in ways they would never wish upon anyone.
Every smile has a story, and every success has a struggle behind it.
So don't compare your journey to someone else's, and don't judge a life by what you see today.
You see the outcome, not the countless prayers, tears, patience, and resilience it took to get there.
Alhamdulillah for every test that shapes us. 🀍

I challenge AI to replace this connection. 😎

Because therapy is more than strategies, reports, and recommendations.

It's trust.
It's relationships.
It's human connection.

And that's where Occupational Therapy begins.

I wanted to make this video because many parents believe that hand flapping is something that must be stopped completely.

The truth is, hand flapping may decrease with time for some children, while for others it may remain a part of how they regulate, express emotions, or interact with the world. And that's okay.

What truly matters is not whether a child hand flaps or not. What matters is whether they are happy, understood, accepted, and able to participate meaningfully in life.

As parents, our role is not just to change our children for the society but to understand them, support them, and help the world understand them too.

A child's future is not defined by hand flapping. It is defined by the opportunities, acceptance, and support they receive along the way. πŸ’™

Hand flapping is not always a behavior that needs to be stopped.

For many autistic children, it can be a way to express excitement, regulate emotions, or cope with sensory experiences.

Instead of asking, "How do I stop it?" try asking, "What is my child communicating?"

Every child deserves understanding, acceptance, and support.

Part 2: Sensory Tools & Their Benefits

The right sensory tools can help children improve focus, self-regulation, body awareness, and emotional well-being. πŸ’™

Remember: Every child is unique. What works for one child may not work for another, so always choose tools according to your child's individual sensory needs.
