AKU Centre for Innovation in Medical Education, Pakistan CIME Pakistan is the first simulation-based educational institute in South Asia to be accredited by the US-based Society for Simulation in Healthcare, SSH.

Mission: CIME aims to transform education in Nursing, Medicine, Dentistry and Allied Health professions in Pakistan and East Africa through partnerships and through raising expectations of what is possible in education, innovation, and learning through technology. What an incredible two days! 🙌

Our 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗸𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽, held in collaboration with the AKU Department of Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Services, concluded on a high note, bringing together 75+ physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, neurologists, DPT students, and healthcare professionals for an engaging learning experience.

Stroke rehabilitation plays a critical role in helping survivors regain independence, improve function, and rebuild their quality of life - and we're proud to support the professionals leading that journey every day.

Meet our new Advisor, Simulation Technology: Ghansham Bhagwan Das! 🎉

From tech and IT to the world of healthcare simulation, Ghansham’s journey at The Aga Khan University spans more than 19 years of innovation, problem-solving, and continuous growth.

Starting his CIME journey as a Simulation Technology Specialist, Ghansham has played a key role in designing, implementing, and supporting advanced simulation technologies that bring healthcare education to life. Now stepping into his new role as Advisor, Simulation Technology, he leads an exceptional team of sim technologists at CIME Karachi, and continues to explore what’s next — from smarter simulation systems to VR-based learning and emerging healthcare technologies.
