🌍 **An Experience to Remember — NYLP IMUN 2026** 🌍

I am incredibly grateful to have participated in National Youth Leadership Program- NYLP- IMUN 2026** as a delegate representing **Somalia in the United Nations Security Council (UNSC)**.

From **13th to 19th August 2026**, I had the opportunity to step into the world of diplomacy, engage in meaningful discussions on global issues, negotiate different perspectives, and learn from an incredible group of young leaders.

Representing Somalia was both a privilege and a responsibility. It pushed me to research, think critically, speak with confidence, listen with an open mind, and understand that effective leadership requires both **courage and empathy**.

A heartfelt thank you to National Youth Leadership Program- NYLP-for giving me this wonderful platform to **learn, grow, connect, and lead**.

The program was organized in collaboration with **Centre of Pakistan and International Relations (COPIAR)**, **IHRC-RFT (Geneva, Switzerland)**, and **Asian Medical Student NEXUS (Kyrgyzstan)**.

I am thankful to the organizers, mentors, chairs, fellow delegates, and everyone who contributed to making these seven days such a memorable and enriching experience.

I leave this experience with new knowledge, new connections, greater confidence, and an even stronger belief in the power of young people to contribute to meaningful change. 🌎✨

**From representing a country in a committee to discovering new dimensions of leadership — this journey was truly worth it.**

Thank you, National Youth Leadership Program- NYLP-IMUN 2026**, for the memories and the lessons! ❤️

📚✨ A Celebration of Reading & Learning

I am happy to receive a **Certificate of Appreciation from the Aga Khan University Institute for Educational Development, Pakistan AKU-IED Library** for my self-nomination and active participation in the **Best Library User 2025 initiative**.

This recognition is meaningful to me because it celebrates something I truly value as a student—**reading, exploring, and learning beyond the classroom**.

The library is so much more than shelves of books. It is a place where we discover new ideas, find resources for our research, ask questions, and sometimes stumble upon a book or article that completely changes the way we think.

As a B.Ed. student, I have especially appreciated the amazing collection of physical and digital resources available at AKU-IED. I am grateful to the Library team for encouraging students to explore and make the most of these valuable resources.

A small reminder for every student: **Don't just study for the assignment. Read to discover. Research to understand. Learn to grow.** ❤️📖

Honoured to receive a Certificate of Appreciation from NJV School for conducting a training session on Child Development & Educational Psychology

It was a privilege to engage with fellow educators, share evidence-based practices, and contribute to meaningful discussions that support children's learning, development, and well-being. I am grateful to the leadership and team at NJV Higher Secondary Government School for the opportunity and recognition.

Here's to continuing to learn, share, and make a positive impact in education.

"Every behavior has a reason." ❤️🏫

Had the most amazing time conducting a session on child psychology with the wonderful teachers at NJV School

We talked all about how to decode student behavior, choosing the right words to describe actions without labeling the child, and using different creative techniques to support kids with diverse behavioral needs.

The response was absolutely overwhelming! It was so fulfilling to see the teachers lean in, share their own experiences, and brainstorm how to apply these ideas in their classrooms. To wrap things up, everyone left their takeaways and feedback on sticky notes—reading through their kind and insightful words was the absolute best part of my day! 📜✨

Swipe to see some glimpses of the session and a few of the lovely sticky note feedbacks! ➡️

I am more than thrilled to share that I had the opportunity to attend the AKU-MUN as a delegate for the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR), organized by Aga Khan University Students’ Affairs and Student Experience in collaboration with AKU students. Held in April, this remarkable experience allowed me to engage in meaningful debates on global refugee issues, collaborate with passionate individuals from diverse backgrounds, and step into the world of diplomacy and international relations. Although I am sharing this experience a little later, the learning, growth, and memories from this journey remain truly unforgettable. 🌍✨

✨ From Trash to Treasure – A Celebration of Creativity & Responsibility ✨

What an amazing culmination event it was! 🌍♻️
Our Primary Section truly transformed waste into wonder with their incredible imagination and artistic efforts.

From a robot made of aluminium foil and paper cups, a beautiful jellyfish crafted from water cans, chart paper, and buttons, to a stationery holder created with rope and jam containers—every piece told a story of creativity and care for our planet. 🧠🎨

The newspaper bags, crows made of newspaper, and adorable puppets created from gloves reflected not just talent, but also an important message: recycling can be fun, meaningful, and impactful. 🌱

This event was a perfect example of how young minds, when guided well, can think innovatively and act responsibly.
So proud of our students and teachers for making this event a grand success! 💚👏

Let’s continue to reduce, reuse, and recycle—because small hands can make a big difference! 🌎✨

🌍 Theme Activities – Energy Conservation, Recycling & Class Achievements

🌱♻️ Learning Beyond Books – Energy Conservation & Recycling ♻️🌱

Our little learners enthusiastically explored the theme of Energy Conservation & Recycling through creative and meaningful activities! 💚

They recycled plastic bottles, metal containers, paper, and ice cream sticks into useful items, planted at home, and learned how to take care of nature 🌿. Alongside hands-on learning, they also enjoyed playtime at school, making every moment joyful and engaging.

Some of the pictures also feature the students I proudly appreciated as the Best Readers of the Class 📚✨ — celebrating their confidence, fluency, and love for reading.

Grateful to all the wonderful mothers for sharing pictures from home and supporting their children’s learning journey. So proud of my little eco-warriors and star readers! 🌎💖
