A 63-year-old woman was referred for pigmented spots on her left eye, with concern for melanoma. They appeared weeks after using “tubing mascara,” made of pigmented polymers rather than traditional oils and waxes. Two circular black lesions of minimal thickness were visible on the temporal bulbar conjunctiva (A). Biopsy showed a solitary 400-μm granuloma in the substantia propria.
