PROFESSIONAL MILESTONE ACHIEVED 🏅
I am pleased to share that I have successfully completed and been certified in the Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS®) Program conducted under the auspices of the American College of Surgeons (ACS) and the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP), Lahore.

ATLS certification represents a globally recognized standard in the initial assessment and management of trauma patients, emphasizing systematic, evidence-based approach to saving lives during critical emergencies.
This achievement further strengthens my commitment to providing the highest standards of trauma, orthopedic, sports injury, and joint replacement care to my patients.
I extend my sincere gratitude to the ATLS faculty, mentors, and colleagues for their guidance and support throughout the course.

ایک 48 سالہ موٹاپے کا شکار گھریلو خاتون گزشتہ 10 سال سے دونوں گھٹنوں کے شدید درد میں مبتلا تھیں، جس کی وجہ سے ان کی روزمرہ زندگی اور نقل و حرکت بری طرح متاثر ہو چکی تھی۔
مختلف ادویات اور علاج کے باوجود درد میں بتدریج اضافہ ہوتا گیا۔ ایکس رے میں گھٹنوں کے اوسٹیوآرتھرائٹس کا گریڈ IV (آخری مرحلہ) ظاہر ہوا، جس میں دائیں گھٹنا زیادہ متاثر تھا۔
مکمل معائنہ اور مشاورت کے بعد مریضہ کا دائیں گھٹنے کا سیمنٹڈ ٹوٹل نی ریپلیسمنٹ (Total Knee Replacement) کم سے کم چیرا (Minimally Invasive Technique) کے ذریعے ڈاکٹر ایچ۔ محیط فاروق نے کامیابی سے کیا۔
آپریشن کامیاب رہا اور مریضہ کو اگلے ہی دن چلنے پھرنے کے قابل بنا دیا گیا۔ مناسب فزیوتھراپی اور نگہداشت کے بعد اب مریضہ بغیر کسی سہارے کے چل رہی ہیں اور تیزی سے صحتیاب ہو رہی ہیں۔
یہ کیس جدید کم سے کم چیرا طریقہ کار کے ذریعے جوڑوں کی تبدیلی کے بہترین نتائج کو ظاہر کرتا ہے، جس سے مریضوں کو درد سے نجات اور بہتر زندگی میسر آتی ہے۔

55 سالہ مرد، پیشے کے اعتبار سے ایک محنتی ریڑھی بان، پھسل کر گرنے کے بعد شدید درد اور چلنے سے قاصر ہونے کی شکایت کے ساتھ پیش ہوا۔ ایکسرے میں دائیں ران کی ہڈی کے گردن (Neck of Femur) کا فریکچر تشخیص ہوا، جو فعال افراد کے لیے نہایت تکلیف دہ اور معذور کن چوٹ ہے۔

مریض کی عمر، سرگرمی اور ضروریات کو مدنظر رکھتے ہوئے دائیں جانب بغیر سیمنٹ کے ٹوٹل ہِپ ریپلیسمنٹ (Uncemented THR) کیا گیا، جو ڈاکٹر ایچ۔ محیط فاروق (FCPS آرتھوپیڈکس) نے منیملی انویسیو تکنیک کے ذریعے کامیابی سے انجام دیا۔
