I remember how scared I was in 2021, when I packed my whole life into two suitcases and decided to leave my siblings and mum behind. It was hard. Very hard. But sometimes, someone has to take that leap of faith. Since then, I have worked damn hard and my siblings worked even harder. And here we are, in the summer of 2026, casually sitting on a riverside bench, enjoying a picnic together, in a country I now proudly call home ❤️‍🩹🥹 And looking at us now… I would say it was worth every scary step and I am so grateful to Almighty for every moment of peace and happiness ❤️

My home will forever be their home too 💌

How conveniently, over the years, women were told to leave their homes and their parents behind for their new home, only to be told that this new home supposedly had no place for their family or siblings.A daughter spending on her parents was deemed inappropriate. Parents staying in their daughter’s home was considered strange or even unacceptable. But who made these rules? And why are we still following them when so many of them make absolutely no sense?

More power to every daughter who is breaking these outdated cycles and creating a healthier, kinder way of doing things. A way where she can honour, support and care for her parents without guilt, shame or being made to feel that she somehow no longer belongs to her own family 🫂

And kudos to the men who are beginning to understand just how unfair these expectations have been for generations and who are choosing to support their wives rather than uphold traditions simply because they have always been done that way 👏🏻

Allahumma barik for every moment and for breaking this generational curse 💌

Finally after 4 years, I am no longer a core trainee 😭💝
Can’t believe how far I’ve come, how much I have learned and unlearned and how I am welcoming an uncertain future with an anxious heart but open arms 🥹🎀

Well, yes I am anxious and there is a lot of uncertainty because I can’t start higher training just yet and I am pushing myself out of my comfort zone by carving a timeline of my own and not trying to run a race at someone’s else’s pace ❤️‍🩹

One step at a time so for now,
Alhumdulillah Kaseera for every milestone and achievement 💌

And, this summer we fell in love with football ⚽️💁🏼‍♀️

This FIFA World Cup was heartwarming and a rollercoaster of emotions. We all carry stories that will remain with us forever…

The 40-year-old Vozinha from Cape Verde, the Spanish PM standing tall, Enzo getting a red card in the final, England losing at the 80th minute, Haaland strolling in and scoring so effortlessly, no one consoling Ronaldo except Lamine, Messi playing his last match, Egypt being robbed of their goal, the stadium singing “Hey Jude”…

And just like that, from Haaland to Jude to Lamine Yamal lifting the trophy, we fell in love with football 🥹⚽️

🏝️Things to know if you are visiting:
1-Parking is only for £1/day. And, there are two car parks, one at the top of the hill where map usually takes and one near the riverside.
2- if you want to park at the hilltop, it’s a beautiful 10 mint walk to riverside. Keep exploring at riverside until you find your perfect spot 🥹
3- There used to be a shop, that is closed now unfortunately so please take snacks with you.
4- There is a small play area for kids as well.
5- Nearby attractions:
✨Horseshoe Falls
✨Pontcysyllte Aqueduct where you can do canoeing
✨Castell Dinas Brân
6- Lastly, please take care of this beautiful place if you visit and leave it as you find it ❤️🚮
