​🐕 Why Grooming is Essential
​When a dog's hair becomes tangled or matted, it creates several risks:
​Skin Irritation: Matting prevents airflow to the skin, which can lead to "hot spots," infections, or hidden parasites.
​Pain: Mats constantly pull on the skin, making every movement uncomfortable for the dog.
​Restricted Movement: Severe matting around the legs or paws can actually change the way a dog walks.
​Hygiene: Mats around the face and tail can trap moisture, food, and waste.
​📅 Recommended Grooming Schedule
​For dogs with hair like this (likely a Poodle mix, Shih Tzu, or similar long-haired breed), consistency is key:

Task Frequency
Full Professional Groom Every 4 to 6 weeks
Full Body Brushing At least 3 times a week (Daily is best!)
