🎗️ The Department of Gynaecological Oncology, FJMU/SGRH, successfully organized the symposium “Bridging Specialties in Gynaecological Oncology” in recognition of Gynaecological Cancer Awareness Month.

Held under the patronage of Prof. Zohra Khanum and organized by Prof. Madeeha Rashid, the event featured insightful sessions by Prof. Shamsa Humayun, Prof. Aisha Malik, Prof. Shamila Ijaz Munir, and Dr. Saman Chaudhary.
Along with the insightful and enlightening remarks of Prof Fareed zafar, Prof Noreen Akmal, Prof Bilqees Shabir, Prof Tabinda Rana , Prof Alia Basheer, Prof Uzma Hussain, Prof Amna Zia, Prof Tayyaba Rashid, Prof Nadia Khursheed, Prof Saira ijaz.

The symposium emphasized multidisciplinary collaboration, early diagnosis, specialized treatment and comprehensive survivorship care.

Prof. Madeeha Rashid extended sincere gratitude to the distinguished leadership, speakers, faculty and participants for making the event a resounding success.

An informative academic session on “Minimally Invasive Surgery in Gynaecological Oncology” was successfully held at the Gynaecological Oncology Unit, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Lahore under kind supervision of Prof Madeeha Rashid.

The session was delivered by Dr Muhammad Usman, Gynaecological Oncologist who shared valuable insights into the principles, ergonomics, evolving evidence, and clinical applications of minimally invasive surgery in gynaecological oncology.

The lecture encouraged an engaging academic discussion and provided an excellent learning opportunity for residents, fellows, and faculty members.
