Clinical Learning & Academic Collaboration

A highly engaging Head & Neck Cancer Study Day was conducted last month at FMH College of Medicine and Dentistry, Shadman, Lahore , featuring an interactive, case-based discussion focused on oral cavity and salivary gland malignancies.

We are pleased to share that our Head of Department, Prof. Malik Ali Hassan Sajid, Professor & HOD, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Mayo Hospital Lahore, actively contributed to and led the case-based discussion alongside distinguished experts in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and Head & Neck Oncology, including Prof. Abid Ashar, Dr. Syed Raza Hussain, Dr. Muhammad Faisal, and Dr. Muhammad Umar Qayyum.

The academic session provided a valuable forum for clinical reasoning, multidisciplinary dialogue, experience sharing, and evidence-based decision-making, with enthusiastic participation from our postgraduate residents (PGRs).

Such academic collaborations play a vital role in strengthening professional knowledge, fostering multidisciplinary practice, and advancing the postgraduate training and clinical competencies of our residents in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and Head & Neck Oncology.
