Successful Surgical Management of Femoral Neck Fracture
A young patient presented with a fracture neck of femur, a serious injury that commonly occurs following high-energy trauma such as road traffic accidents or falls. In young individuals, preserving the natural hip joint is of utmost importance.
The fracture was treated with closed reduction and internal fixation using Cannulated Cancellous (CC) Screws, a well-established technique that provides stable fixation while preserving blood supply to the femoral head.
Why Early Treatment is Important
