R = Reduction (ٹوٹی ہوئی ہڈی کو صحیح جگہ پر لانا)
I = Internal (جسم کے اندر)
F = Fixation (پلیٹ، پیچ، راڈ یا پن لگا کر ہڈی کو مضبوطی سے جوڑنا)
یہ آپریشن اس وقت کیا جاتا ہے جب ہڈی کا فریکچر زیادہ شدید ہو، ہڈی اپنی جگہ سے کافی ہٹ گئی ہو، یا صرف پلاسٹر سے ٹھیک ہونے کا امکان کم ہو۔
