A patient who came to us with severe cervical myelopathy and was unable to walk is now, after surgery, able to stand and walk with minimal assistance and continues to get better every day.

There is no greater reward for a surgeon than seeing your work help change the course of someone’s life. Moments like these remind us why we chose this journey and make every challenge along the way worthwhile.

ایک مریض جو حرام مغز پر شدید دباؤ کی وجہ سے چلنے پھرنے سے قاصر تھا، سرجری کے بعد اب کم سے کم مدد کے ساتھ کھڑا ہونے اور چلنے کے قابل ہے، اور ہر گزرتے دن کے ساتھ اس کی حالت مزید بہتر ہو رہی ہے۔

ایک سرجن کے لیے اس سے بڑھ کر کوئی خوشی نہیں کہ وہ اپنے کام کے ذریعے کسی کی زندگی کا رخ بدلتے ہوئے دیکھے۔ ایسے لمحات ہمیں یاد دلاتے ہیں کہ ہم نے یہ سفر کیوں چنا، اور راستے کی ہر مشکل کو بامقصد بنا دیتے ہیں۔

We were honored to be invited by the Tanzanian Neurosurgical Society at the 1st International Society of Global Neurosurgery (ISGNS) meeting to conduct a brain tumor surgery workshop. After doing multiple times successfully in Pakistan, this was the first time we conducted the workshop out of country.

This workshop highlighted the vast potential for expanding training opportunities in LMICs through collaborative efforts.
