Exactly 12 years ago this week two teenagers were brutally killed by a rabid mob in Sialkot. While the Anti Terrorism Court had swiftly sentenced seven of the accused to death and the other five to life imprisonment. Our prestigious Supreme Court later overturned the ruling and reduced everyone’s sentence to a 10 year imprisonment, meaning the men who lynched, hung and mutilated two teenage boys in broad daylight, in front of a crowd, on camera, are either already or will be out on the streets again this year and there’s nothing you or I or the poor parents of Mughees and Muneeb Butt can do about it. Because its our fault we were born in Pakistan where the justice system and human life are both a joke. RIP Brothers. Hum Sharminda Hain !!
