Sacrifice un recognized.
IN LOVING MEMORY OF DR. ARSLAN ADIL (ENT REGISTRAR, HMC PESHAWAR)
A DOCTOR WHO DIED WHILE SAVING OTHERS - BUT WAS FORGOTTEN BY HIS OWN INSTITUTION
Dr. Arslan Adill, FCPS Part-II Trained, working as Registrar ENT at Hayatabad Medical Complex, Peshawar, was not just a doctor. He was hope for his patients.
One routine day, while performing surgery in the ENT Operation Theatre, he suddenly collapsed on the OT floor. He was immediately taken to the ICU and put on a ventilator. His own colleagues fought to save him, but Allah had planned his return. He did not survive.
He died on duty. In his uniform. While serving humanity.
May Allah grant him the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous. Ameen.
What is heartbreaking and pathetic is what happened after:
1. No one from the hospital administration visited his home to condole with his family.
2. No official salute or honor was paid at his grave.
3. No honorary shield or recognition was announced in his name.
4. Most painful - No compensation, not even a single rupee, was given to his poor family despite promises.
Because he was poor? Because he had no influence?
We make a humble appeal to the *Board of Governors, MTI-HMC, and the Health Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa:*
Please acknowledge his sacrifice. He deserves to be declared as Shaheed on duty. His family deserves death compensation / Shuhada Package. This is not charity - this is his right.
Let us prove that Hayatabad Medical Complex does not leave its own heroes alone.
PDA striving for white Coat dignity.
