Fauji Foundation Hospital Sargodha observed **World Blood Donor Day** in collaboration with **BDS-UOS (Blood Donor Society, University of Sargodha)**.

On this occasion, **Dr. Ghulam Rasool (Paeds Specialist)**, **Dr. Muttayab Ur Rehman (Medical Officer)**, and **Mr. Mohid Akram (President, BDS-UOS)** delivered awareness lectures to patients and hospital staff, highlighting the importance of voluntary blood donation and its vital role in saving lives.

☀️ **ہیٹ اسٹروک (لُو لگنا) — ایک جان لیوا ایمرجنسی**

گرمی کی اس شدید لہر میں **خود کو اور اپنے پیاروں کو محفوظ رکھنا انتہائی ضروری ہے۔**

🚫 **دوپہر 11 بجے سے شام 4 بجے تک** غیر ضروری طور پر دھوپ میں نکلنے سے گریز کریں۔

💧 کثرت سے پانی پئیں، ORS، لیموں پانی یا لسی کا استعمال کریں، اور جسم پر ٹھنڈا پانی چھڑکتے رہیں۔

اگر درج ذیل علامات ظاہر ہوں تو فوری احتیاطی اقدامات کریں:

⚠️ **ہیٹ اسٹروک کی علامات**
• جسم کا درجہ حرارت بہت زیادہ ہونا (40°C یا 104°F سے زائد)
• جسم کا گرم اور خشک ہو جانا
• دل کی دھڑکن تیز ہو جانا
• شدید سر درد یا چکر آنا
• متلی یا الٹی
• غنودگی یا بے ہوشی

🛡️ **احتیاطی تدابیر**
✅ دن بھر زیادہ پانی پئیں (کم از کم 8 تا 10 گلاس)
✅ ہلکے رنگ اور ڈھیلے کپڑے پہنیں
✅ دھوپ میں نکلتے وقت ٹوپی، چھتری اور سن گلاسز استعمال کریں
✅ بچوں، بزرگوں اور مریضوں کا خصوصی خیال رکھیں
✅ براہِ راست دھوپ میں زیادہ دیر نہ رہیں

🩺 **ابتدائی طبی امداد**
• متاثرہ شخص کو فوراً ٹھنڈی یا سایہ دار جگہ منتقل کریں
• کپڑے ڈھیلے کریں
• جسم پر ٹھنڈا پانی ڈالیں یا گیلا تولیہ رکھیں
• پنکھا یا ٹھنڈی ہوا فراہم کریں
• اگر مریض ہوش میں ہو تو پانی یا ORS پلائیں
• حالت خراب ہونے یا بے ہوشی کی صورت میں فوراً قریبی ہسپتال منتقل کریں

🌍 World Environment Day Awareness Session 🌿

On the occasion of World Environment Day, an awareness lecture was conducted at Fauji Foundation Hospital Sargodha for patients and staff to highlight the importance of protecting our environment and promoting a healthy lifestyle.

The session was delivered by:

👩‍⚕️ Dr Samreen Fatima

They emphasized the importance of maintaining a clean environment, reducing pollution, proper waste disposal, and adopting eco-friendly habits as these directly contribute to better public health and disease prevention.

Participants were also guided on how environmental changes can impact respiratory health, infections, and overall wellbeing—especially in children and vulnerable patients.

Today, World Hypertension Day was observed at Fauji Foundation Hospital Sargodha to raise awareness among patients and staff regarding prevention, early detection, and proper management of high blood pressure.

On this occasion, Dr. Umar Cheema (Medical Specialist) and Dr. Aiman Riaz (Medical Officer) delivered an informative lecture and guided patients and hospital staff about the importance of regular BP monitoring, lifestyle modification, and adherence to treatment for better health outcomes.

The session was highly appreciated by attendees and helped in strengthening awareness about hypertension as a silent but serious health risk.
