I often hear people say, “Oh, physiotherapy_is_just_massage.”
Honestly, it is much more than that.
Physiotherapy_is_NOT_a_massage. And it is time we stop calling it that.
> Massage can feel good.
> Physiotherapy changes lives.
Physiotherapy is about finding:
> The root cause of pain,
> Improving movement,
> Rebuilding strength,
> Restoring function, and preventing the problem from coming back.
It is not just about “feeling better” for one day.
It is about actually getting better.
Yes, hands-on treatment is sometimes part of the process.
But physiotherapy is far bigger than that.

> It is rehabilitation.
> It is guided recovery.
> It is science in action.
Physiotherapist looks at:
> Why is the pain happening?
> What movement is restricted?
> Which muscles are weak?
> What needs to improve so the problem does not keep coming back?
The goal is not just temporary relief.

Physiotherapy may include:

> Rehabilitation,

The next time someone says, “Physio means massage,”
