Respected Members of the Legal Fraternity of Pakistan,
Assalam-o-Alaikum.
I respectfully seek your guidance and professional assistance in establishing and registering the Kot Addu Special Persons Association for District Kot Addu.
Our vision is not to establish a traditional charity-based NGO. We do not intend to register with the Social Welfare Department, nor do we wish to create an organization that holds one annual distribution event, hands out a few white canes, wheelchairs, clothes, or small cash amounts, and then spends the rest of the year collecting donations, charity, or funds in the name of persons with disabilities.
We believe persons with disabilities deserve far more than occasional charity. They deserve their constitutional and legal rights, equal opportunities, dignity, education, healthcare, employment, accessibility, rehabilitation, and justice.
Our mission is to establish an Association that becomes the lawful voice of persons with disabilities in District Kot Addu—an Association that is led by committed, educated, and active persons with disabilities themselves, working to resolve genuine issues through legal and constitutional means, empowering people to become self-reliant rather than dependent on charity.
Unfortunately, we have no registered legal platform at present. Because of this, we cannot legally receive donations, grants, or any other financial assistance, nor can we effectively represent the disability community before public institutions. The absence of legal registration is the only reason this mission has not yet become a reality.
I am also unable to bear the registration expenses, have limited knowledge of the legal procedure, and, as a full-time employee, cannot frequently visit different offices to complete the registration process.
Therefore, I humbly request the respected members of the legal profession: if any Advocate, Legal Consultant, or Law Firm is willing to guide us or provide pro bono or affordable legal assistance in completing the registration process, your contribution will help create a permanent legal platform dedicated to protecting the rights of persons with disabilities.
We firmly believe that the true measure of service is not how much charity is distributed, but how many lives are empowered to stand with dignity, independence, and equal rights.
We aspire to build an Association that speaks for those whose voices often go unheard, stands beside those who have no one to stand with them, and works tirelessly to secure education, employment, healthcare, accessibility, justice, and equal opportunities for every person with a disability in District Kot Addu.
Your legal expertise can transform this vision into a lawful institution that will serve generations to come.
Thank you.
