Are we ready for San Francisco? Almost.

For now: rehearsals, changes, details, “one more time”… and then one more time after that.

We’re getting closer to October 7 and Pursuit of Happiness in San Francisco. 🎶

Here’s a little look at what getting ready actually looks like behind the scenes.

Next stop: San Francisco. ✈️🇺🇸

From the pitch stage to the investors’ table. 🇵🇱🇩🇪

Konrad Zieliński represented Uhura Bionics at The Polish-German Innovation Runway by Venture Café Warsaw, presenting our technology and the mission behind it.

And the conversation didn't end with the pitch. 🎤
Konrad was also invited to an exclusive investors’ breakfast, which was another opportunity to introduce Uhura, exchange ideas and build relationships for what comes next.

New connections. New conversations. New opportunities to bring voice-restoring technology further. 🌍💜

Thank you, Venture Café Warsaw!

A person is always more than their diagnosis.

You may know Konrad Zieliński as a founder, scientist and entrepreneur.

But there’re also motorcycles, cycling, swimming, camping, travelling, music and simply enjoying life.

Losing your natural voice changes a lot.
It doesn’t change who you are.

And that’s one of the reasons we believe restoring voice should be about much more than speech.

It’s about expression. Connection. And being able to fully participate in life.

VOICE = LIFE | More than speaking.

We’re coming to San Francisco! 🇺🇸

On October 7, Uhura Bionics will present Whitney in the US for the first time not through a traditional product demo, but through a live concert.

“Pursuit of Happiness” is about something at the heart of what we do: restoring a voice means restoring much more than words. It means emotion, expression, connection and even the ability to sing.

Join Konrad Zieliński, Gabriela Kołtun and Wiktoria Deredas for a special evening at Mr. Tipple’s Jazz Club during SF Tech Week.

Why a concert? 🎤

Because if technology can give someone a voice, we believe that voice should do more than simply produce words.

It should carry emotion.
Intonation.
Personality.
And eventually, music.

That's why we're bringing Whitney to a stage in San Francisco.
Not for a traditional product demo but for a live concert. 🎤

🇪🇺 Tik-Tak is growing further.

We’re working on the next generation of our electrolarynx and preparing to enter new European markets.

Uhura Bionics is carrying out the project “Rozwój innowacyjnych kompaktowych sztucznych krtani Tik-Tak oraz ekspansja na nowe rynki”, co-financed by the European Union.

As part of the project, we are developing Tik-Tak Ultra — an improved version designed to be more durable, reliable and comfortable in everyday use.

The next steps include testing and validating the solution with users and medical professionals, adapting it to new EU markets and preparing for further international expansion.

It’s another step toward making voice restoration technology more accessible to people after laryngectomy. 💙

Total project value: PLN 2,337,165.00
EU funding: PLN 1,971,927.75

The project is co-financed by the European Union under the European Funds for Eastern Poland 2021–2027 programme.

We’re going to SF Tech Week! 🇺🇸⚡

On October 7, Uhura Bionics Konrad Zieliński will bring Pursuit of Happiness to San Francisco.

One night.
One stage.

The US premiere of Whitney - our next-generation voice technology

And we'll be presenting it through a live concert. 🎤

Because a restored voice should be able to do more than speak.

It should express.
Feel.
And sing.

A voice is more than words.

It’s laughter.
Excitement.
Emotion.
A joke.
A whisper.
A song.

It’s the difference between saying “I love you” and simply communicating information.

For people who have lost their natural voice, restoring communication should mean more than making words understandable.

It should mean bringing back emotion, expression and individuality.

Because a voice isn’t only about speaking.

It’s about being heard and being yourself.

We made the Startup Battlefield 200! 🚀🇺🇸

Uhura Bionics has been selected by TechCrunch as one of the 200 most promising early-stage startups from around the world.

From thousands of applications, 200 companies were chosen to join this year’s Startup Battlefield cohort and come to TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 in San Francisco.

For us, it’s another milestone in a year increasingly focused on the US.

And this October, there will be even more reasons for Uhura to be in San Francisco.

TechCrunch Disrupt.
Premiere of Whitney.
The next stage of our US journey.

And much more to come.

See you in California. 🌉

Something we've been holding close for a while is finally ready to share.

"The Diary of Experiences": a feature-length documentary about Konrad's story and the journey behind Uhura Bionics is officially on its way. 🎬

The film is directed by the wonderful Dorota Roś and produced by Zofia Kujawka. Last week, they pitched the project at Millennium Docs Against Gravity, the biggest and most renowned film festival in this part of Europe, and were awarded the Jacob Burns Film Center Award. Congratulations to the entire team. You earned every bit of this with your hard work!

The prize is a one-month artistic residency in New York for the film crew, but for us, it's so much more than that. We'll use this opportunity to strengthen the collaboration between Uhura's Polish and American operations, and to bring the realities of life after laryngectomy to a global audience that rarely hears these stories.

This project means a lot to us.

It has been almost two years in the making, and two more to go, and it's not just a film about technology. It's a film about people who have lost their voice to laryngeal cancer: in Poland, in the United States, and around the world, and about the broader community of atypical speakers who deserve to be seen and heard. It's about what happens when technology is built from a place of real human need, and when the motivation to pursue happiness becomes stronger than the obstacles in the way.

We hope this film reaches the people who need it most. And I'm grateful: to Dorota, to Zofia, to everyone who has trusted us with their stories along the way, for helping carry it this far.

More soon. 🙏
