Nos sentimos honrados de recibir al representante Congressman Greg Murphy, MD , y a la representante Representative Lisa McClain en Professional Hospital Guaynabo para una visita enfocada en la atención al paciente y la política de salud. Ambos congresistas dialogaron directamente con nuestros pacientes y personal clínico, y participaron en una mesa redonda donde se abordaron los desafíos únicos que enfrenta Puerto Rico—incluyendo la necesidad urgente de reforzar la fiscalización de las redes de proveedores y eliminar la terminación sin causa en los contratos bajo Medicare Advantage. También discutimos los bloques de fondos de Medicaid y cómo los proveedores en la isla logran hacer más con menos. Su visita fortalece nuestras expectativas de contar con una defensa comprometida e informada en el Congreso de los Estados Unidos en pro del bienestar de los ciudadanos americanos residentes en Puerto Rico.

Kayla and I are terribly saddened with the passing of Edi Meadows. Edi was an amazing inspiration to us and always had a joyful spirit. She was a key part in so many community efforts and everyone loved to work alongside her. Our sincere condolences to her loving family.

Here sharing our family photo which is becoming a greater blessing as well as a project! I take this opportunity to thank all our new followers and our friends who have supported us so much in these years of growth and new challenges. We want to wish you a good start to the upcoming year and some days of peace and reflection in the face of so many world events. Challenges make us grow and also help us appreciate the true blessings in our lives. 🙏
