If you still treat pain like it lives in the muscle, you’re already behind.
Pain is not “where it hurts”. Pain is a perception produced in the brain, not just the signal from the tissue. That’s why tiny injuries can be unbearable and big injuries can be strangely tolerable.
If your entire assessment is “press where it hurts and treat there”, you are guessing, not doing neuroscience-based therapy.
Referred pain, inconsistent symptoms, weird pain patterns… they are not “patient exaggerations”, they are neurophysiology.
If you want to be more than just another physio doing trial-and-error, you must start treating the nervous system, not just the tissue.
👉 Save this if you’re tired of guessing.
👉 Guarda esto si estás cansado de adivinar.
Either you understand that pain is a brain output, or you will keep chasing symptoms for the rest of your career.
