We’re at ICM 2026 in Lisbon! 🌍

The 34th ICM Triennial Congress is the largest global gathering of midwives, bringing together professionals from around the world to share knowledge, research and best practice in women’s health and maternity care.

This year’s theme, 1 Million More Midwives, highlights the vital role midwives play in supporting women and families and the need to strengthen the global midwifery workforce.

It’s been wonderful meeting so many of you already! If you’re attending the Congress, come and say hello at our stand. We’d love to chat about improving miscarriage care and the work we’re doing through Dignity Care and our Miscarriage Care Kits.

Today marks one year since the launch of the Miscarriage Collection Cradle. 💜

Created by Laura Corcoran after her own experience of miscarriage, the Cradle was designed to provide women with a practical and dignified way to manage the collection of pregnancy tissue during at-home miscarriage.

⭐In just one year, the Cradle has progressed from launch to NHS adoption, parliamentary recognition, national innovation support and growing international interest.

⭐The Miscarriage Collection Cradle is now in use across 23 hospitals. This is an important step forward, but there is still more to do.

No woman should be left to navigate miscarriage without dignity, compassion or the tools she needs.

We want to see the Miscarriage Collection Cradle made available in more hospitals, GP practices and pharmacies, so women and families can access support when and where they need it.
