Scufița Roșie / Little red riding hood

We all know the story. The girl, the forest, the wolf, the huntsman.
But what if the saddest part of the story isn't the wolf — but the road the girl walks alone, with no one beside her to say what's real danger and what's just a rustling leaf?
In a new article, I read Little Red Riding Hood again — not as a story about a predator, but as a mirror for a loneliness many of us still carry from a childhood we walked through without a map.
And by the end, it leads to a harder question than the fairy tale itself: which is the saddest story, really — the one with characters, or the one that was never told?
