Step into the Self - Challenge. 💫

Today is about love and care. At it's finest.

Start writing down at least 10 things you would do or buy for your loved ones. Include something that involves self-care or a nurturing ritual.
Maybe a massage, a bubble bath or even an expensive gift. Anything you consider pampering. Anything that you know would bring joy into their life and make them feel loved.
When you finish, read again this awesome list imagining how much joy they would get from all of those things.

The challenge is to do all these things for yourself during this year. You have a whole year so this should be easy.
The hard part is sometimes acknowledging that we deserve all those beautiful things. That we, just as much as those around us, crave for these nurturing things and actually deserve them just as much as they do.

I would love to know one of the things you put on that list. So please share it here. It will surely inspire others too. ♥️

Step into the Self Challenge.

The journey I present today is a very intimate and clarifying one.
It brings you closer to your Soul if you are willing to step towards this territory.

Think about 3 things you always wanted for yourself. Things you wanted to be, to have or to bring as a contribution to this world.
These might be things you no longer dare to dream about yet they still live in a corner of your mind if you are brave enough to be honest with yourself.

Now journal for each of them:
Who does this wish belong to?
Why is this a good thing to be, have or do?
What are some negative consequences if this doesn't manifest in my life?
Why am I afraid to have this in my life?
Who would I become if I had this wish fulfilled?
Am I willing to let this go right now?

See what comes up for you and then let the process unfold in your reality.

"Step into the Self" Challenge. ✨

As I often do in my work, I send you back to the Mirror.
This gate that will always take you exactly where you need to be and bring to live that part of your shadow that is ready to be seen and integrated.

I want you to take some time, breathe and look into your eyes. Really look.
When you feel ready, ask yourself these questions while connecting deeper with yourself:

What do I see in myself that I carry with me for at least 10 years and I want to let go of?

What do I see in myself that is recent and valuable?

What do I see in myself if I look close enough that I've been avoiding until now?

What do I wish to see in the Mirror 10 years from now?

Take your time. Process everything that comes up as best as you can. Journal about everything that you discovered in this experience. If you have the option and it feels right to you, even discuss it with your therapist so he can help you further in your healing.

Have a wonder-filled meeting with yourself. ☀️

The inner child is always waiting for us.

Mine came in a dream last night. He looked like me but felt like him. Crying and throwing tantrums. Making me unable to speak, unable to give or receive love, unable to fully live. Because he was hurting so much.

Today felt funny. Until I stopped avoiding him.
I felt guided a while ago to buy this book for him.

Today I got to read it to him. What a blessing.
Mini me was a little bunny. But she is safe now. Because I am here to make sure of that.

What about your inner child? Is he happy or barely surviving?

Mirror the Self - Challenge.

Taking care of an inner child.

Step 1. Go to a library and buy a children's book. The one that calls you. Choose spontaneously.

Step 2. Close your eyes. Breathe and connect to your body. Think of all the inner children you have inside.

There are parts of you that are 3 years old, looking for a hug. Another part might be 8 and already know shame. Another child might be 9 and he knows that he will always be deeply alone and misunderstood.

Search inside for one of them. Tell them: "I am here to help you but in order to do so I need to see you." See who shows up. One of them might feel ready to be cared for. If not, try to think which one of them would need it most.

Ask him if there is something you can do for him. Listen and try to provide him with what he needs.

If he wants, or another one of those children want, read him the book you bought. Take the time to find a warm and private place and read aloud that book, as your inner child receives care and attention from you. Notice what this brings to you.

Mirror the Self - Challenge.
Today is about Anger.
Anger moves and tries to escape. It consumes our power and creeps in our relationships. Anger hurts our stomach and causes back pain. Yet it just wants to be accepted and set free.
Setting her free in an argument only amplifies her and it creeps back inside consuming us. We say proud yet confused: I let out my anger.
Yet still, there it is. Waiting to be let out again. Hurting ourselves and our loved ones.
Finding a healthy way to let anger out is crucial to our healing. Here is a process you can do to set her free.
Close your eyes. Connect to your anger. Tell her: Welcome. What are you trying to tell me? I am here. I see you. You are not alone.
And then listen. Just listen to her.
Let that angry part or parts feel seen for a while. Write everything down on a piece of paper and burn it. It has been seen. It can be set free.
If you identify resentment towards someone in particular during this process write a "f**k you letter" to that person and burn it too.
Let every part of you feel seen and heard. They've been alone for too long.
Enjoy the process. Roaarrrr! 🦁🌿
